Dropshipping Plant Life SA is an e-commerce drop-shipping platform that connects South African buyers with sellers of exotic plants, primarily from Thailand and Indonesia. We do not own, cultivate, or handle the plants directly. All transactions facilitated through our platform involve the buyer and the third-party seller. Below, we have provided a detailed explanation of our process, pricing, and how our partnership would proceed. We welcome any feedback and look forward to the opportunity to collaborate. ​ Product Responsibility When purchasing a plant through Plant Life SA, you acknowledge that we are not responsible for the condition of the plants upon arrival. Any issues, such as damage, root rot, or other plant health concerns, must be addressed directly with the seller. We strongly recommend that buyers inspect their plants immediately upon arrival and report any issues within 24 hours. If any problems are identified, please contact us, and we will forward your concerns to the seller. Please note that if no photos or videos are provided within 24 hours, replacements may not be offered. Sellers are responsible only for the plants they provide and any additional plants they send at your request. They are not responsible for plants not included in their shipment. ​ Shipping and Delivery While Plant Life SA facilitates shipping and delivery, we are not responsible for delays, damages, or losses that may occur during transit. We act solely as an intermediary between the buyer and the shipping service. Any shipping-related claims should be directed to the courier service or the seller. If any problems are identified, please contact us, and we will forward your concerns to the seller and courier. ​ No Liability for Plant Condition Plant Life SA cannot be held liable for the condition of plants once they are shipped by the seller. This includes, but is not limited to, issues such as root rot, pest infestation, or general plant health. We do not offer warranties or guarantees regarding the quality or longevity of the plants. ​ Return and Refund Policy All requests for returns, refunds, or replacements must be directed to the seller. Plant Life SA acts only as a facilitator in processing these requests. We strongly recommend that buyers carefully review the seller's return and refund policies before completing a purchase. Plant Life SA is not responsible for any refusal by the seller to issue a refund or replacement. Once payment for plants has been made, it is non-refundable if you decide not to proceed with the import. Plant Life SA has no control over these third-party services and is not liable for any issues arising from their use. Buyers use these services at their own risk and are advised to review the terms and conditions of these services before use Fees And Budget We are firm believers in value and longevity and set our pricing accordingly. We hope Plant life SA remains your logistics and shipping provider for many years, should you send your business our way. Because of this, our pricing structure is competitive and steers clear of hidden fees further down the road. ​ Payment Terms To help explain the fees that will need to be paid over a two-week timeline, we can break down the process into key milestones, with associated fees outlined at each stage. ​ 1. Initial Purchase Action: Purchase of plants from the seller in Thailand. Fee: Plant Cost Payment Due: Immediately upon purchase. 2. Order Processing & Documentation (Days 2-3) Action: Preparation begins on the order and necessary export/import documentation processing. Fee: Processing Fee Documentation and testing Fee Payment Due: 2 Days after 1st payment or same day. 3. Export Shipping Arrangement Action: Seller coordinates with Airfreight to arrange international shipping. Fee: International Shipping Fee: Approximately R3600 [Amount based on size, weight, and destination] this can only be confirmed once plants are packed and weighed inside of the boxes. Payment Due: Usually required before the shipment is dispatched. 1 Day before export. The total milestone time is around 2 to 3 weeks. Payment for plants: Due within 1 day(s) from signing date. Import Handling Fee: 2 day(s) after 1st payment Airfreight: 15 to 28 day(s) after 2nd payment Phytosanitary/Nematode 20 day(s) after 3rd payment Next Steps Once you accept this proposal and sign it, the agreement becomes a binding contract. The next step is to proceed with payment. We will keep you informed throughout the process. After payment is received, the seller will begin preparing the necessary arrangements. The flight can only be booked after the nematode tests are completed, which typically takes 7 to 14 days from the time of your order. Once the test results are confirmed negative, the flight will be scheduled, and the plants should depart within approximately 3 days. ​ Terms ​ The terms of the contract with Plant Life SA require a minimum commitment of 21 days. Our fees are fixed for the first six months, and we ask for your commitment to this period as well. Please note that plant prices may vary with future orders due to potential changes in pricing by the farms, for which we are not responsible. ​ SECTION 1 - ONLINE STORE TERMS By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site. You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
